- Technical Guidance: Training and technical information provided for organic input production.
- Mode Of Disbursement: Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) through Treasury via RTGS.
- Frequency of Disbursement: One-time subsidy.
विवरण-
The scheme "National Horticulture Mission - Vermi Compost Unit" implemented by the Horticulture Department, Government of Rajasthan, is a centrally sponsored scheme that aims to promote organic input production through providing a subsidy for the establishment of vermi compost units and HDPE vermi beds to farmers. The scheme is funded in the ratio of 60% by the Central Government and 40% by the State Government. It supports farmers in setting up infrastructure for organic compost production. The subsidy is released after physical verification by officials. The unit must be maintained for at least 3 years.

- The applicant must be a farmer.
- The applicant must practice horticulture crops on their own land.

- The applicant must be selected under organic farming programmes; priority is given to such farmers/areas.
- The applicant must establish the unit as per prescribed size and standards.
- The applicant must procure earthworms from authorized sources such as ATC or registered institutions.
- The applicant must give an undertaking to operate the unit for at least 3 years.
- The applicant must allow physical verification by authorized officials.
