The disability certificate and UDID card is issued to eligible person based on the disability assessment by the Hospital. The issuance of disability certificate and UDID card is subjected to provisions given in the disability assessment guidelines no. 1338 (E) dated 12.03.2024. In case, the applicant is not satified with the rejection reasons, the appeal can be filed to appellate authority within 90 days of rejection of application. Every Hospital has to designate appellate authority as per Section 59 of RPwD Act, 2016. The appeal can be made through UDID portal , provided, appeallate authority has been mapped by the State on portal. In case, it is not mapped on UDID portal, the physical mechanism of appellate authority shall be applicable.
