Sahyog Yojana
Under this scheme, the State Government provides assistance of Rs. 5,000 as ex-gratia on the occasion of marriage of daughters of Scheduled Caste families living below poverty line (BPL). This amount will be payable only for the marriage of the first 2 girl children of the family.
To receive the grant amount, the prescribed application form has to be filled and submitted to the District Magistrate, Social Justice and Empowerment Department of the concerned district, who will accept the application as per the procedure prescribed in the rules and make arrangements for payment.

Sahyog Yojana (Extension)
In compliance with the budget announcement of the year 2008-09, the scheme has been expanded and is being operated for BPL families of all categories. BPL families of all categories Under the scheme, provision has been made to provide assistance of Rs. 10,000 on the marriage of a girl child of 21 years and above of a BPL family. Rs. 5000 will continue to be provided as before on the marriage of a girl child of 18 to 21 years of age belonging to BPL families of scheduled castes.

Sahyog Yojana has been amended by the departmental notification number 58107 dated 07.10.2009, under which assistance of Rs. 10,000 will be provided on the marriage of a girl child of 18 years or above belonging to all categories of BPL families.
